Global tuberculosis report 2024


The 2024 WHO Global Tuberculosis Report offers a thorough and current evaluation of the TB epidemic, as well as the progress in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment at global, regional, and national levels. This assessment is framed within global TB commitments, strategies, and targets. As with previous editions, the 2024 report primarily utilizes data collected annually from national ministries of health by WHO. This year, data was submitted by 193 countries and areas, covering over 99% of the world’s population and TB cases. The main document highlights key findings and messages, complemented by detailed, digitized content on webpages, including interactive graphics, and an app with country, regional, and global profiles.
